CASE STUDY
ARCstage Arcade Launch Website
2025-05-10

Project Overview
ARCstage, a rhythm game arcade in Edmonton, Alberta, approached me in May 2025 before the arcade had publicly launched. The goal was to create a landing page that could generate excitement for the project while also acting as a hub for announcements, updates, and future game reveals.
Because the arcade had not yet opened, the website needed to build anticipation while capturing early interest from the local rhythm gaming community.
What We Built
The first version of the site focused on a high-impact landing experience designed to introduce the concept and collect early signups.
Key goals included:
- Creating a visually engaging launch page that matched the arcade’s high-energy rhythm game theme.
- Building a flexible structure so new game reveals and announcements could be added easily.
- Capturing early community interest through an email signup system.
After several rounds of design iterations, we launched the initial version of the website ahead of the arcade’s public reveal.
Early Results
Within the first few weeks after launch, the site generated over 400 email signups from people interested in updates and opening news.
This early traction helped ARCstage validate community interest before the arcade doors officially opened.
Phase Two: Post-Launch Redesign
Once the arcade opened, the site evolved again.
I spent about a week refining new design directions before finalizing a neon-inspired visual style that better matched the arcade atmosphere and rhythm game aesthetic.
This updated design helped transition the site from a pre-launch teaser into a full online presence for the business.
Outcome
ARCstage quickly established itself as a standout destination for rhythm game enthusiasts in Edmonton.
Since opening, the arcade has accumulated 30+ five-star reviews and built a strong reputation within the local gaming community. The website now serves as a central place for updates, announcements, and ongoing engagement with players.
